A few helpful answers

About the program.

Who is the program for?

The program focuses on children and families facing medical care in hospitals and doctors’ offices. Suitability and availability are discussed with each participating care team.

Does the book replace a conversation with the medical team?

No. It offers a starting point for questions and conversation. A child’s own healthcare team remains the source for explanations about that child’s care.

Can a hospital or doctor’s office participate?

Yes. We welcome partnership inquiries so we can discuss the setting, patient needs and applicable requirements.

Can a business sponsor the program?

We welcome conversations with businesses and groups interested in supporting the program. Use the sponsorship inquiry option to start the discussion.

A little kindness. A lasting difference.

Together, we can make the hospital less scary for kids.
